Steven Boyle Gives New Life with ReBloom Project

Categories: MPI Community

Steven Boyle Design was pleased to be able to create a beautiful setting for the 2012 Annual MPI Aloha Chapter gala. The evening was elegant and the amazing Halekulani stepped it up with scrumptious food, and impeccable service. The tables were designed with a black and white look with touches of grape to give it a lift. The flowers in the center of each of the tables were placed atop a bejeweled glass vessel filled with grape colored water. Atop this vase were fresh blossoms of white hydrangea, white south American roses, Casablanca lilies, white spray roses, white dendrobium orchids and a pop of purple with waxflower…..so the question becomes….what happens to all of the flowers after these stunning events….well that is where Rebloom Hawaii comes into play, the florals are all picked up by the staff at Steven Boyle Design and transported back to the warehouse, where volunteers recreate and redesign these flowers into smaller arrangements. These smaller flowers are then delivered to Hospitals, nursing homes and hospice throughout the state of Hawaii. The flowers after the gala were delivered to the Care Center of Hawaii where many residents that were in need of a little Aloha were given flower arrangements to brighten their day. Flowers that normally would have been destined for the dumpster are given a new life and rebloomed to the enjoyment of their recipients.
